Meet Our Staff
Julie Mathers;
Julie Mathers,
ERYT -500 hour, Tier 2 Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher, MS Ed., and a mom to three.
I love summer and warm weather, anything pink and my favorite singer is Debbie Gibson.
In 2007 a friend asked me to try a Baptiste Power Vinyasa class and I said yes, with lots of hesitation ( I was a 7 year old Bikram Yogi) After my class I was hooked! The power, the presence to the physical body, the challenge and heat!
I completed my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2009 and started to teach Baptiste Yoga right away. I completed my level one Baptiste training in 2015 and my level two training in 2016, completed my certification as a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga teacher. I have been teaching yoga in Lancaster County since 2009!
After recovering from an eating disorder, I hope to inspire hope and healing through yoga. Yoga being a vehicle to get present in the physical body, enter into a space of possibility, and find empowerment.

James Mathers;
Yoga has been a transformative journey for me, both personally and professionally. As a 200-hour trained yoga instructor, I have immersed myself in the practice and philosophy of yoga, which has deepened my understanding of mindfulness and well-being. This training has not only enhanced my skills as an instructor but also enriched my own practice, allowing me to connect more profoundly with my students. Through teaching, I have witnessed the incredible benefits yoga brings to individuals from all walks of life. Each class presents a unique opportunity to share the joy of movement, breath, and meditation. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to explore their limits, find balance, and cultivate inner peace. The sense of community that develops in my classes is truly rewarding. My journey as a yoga instructor continues to evolve, and I remain committed to lifelong learning. I am excited to explore new techniques and styles, as well as deepen my understanding of anatomy and holistic health. Sharing this journey with others not only inspires my practice but also reinforces the importance of yoga in a healthy, balanced lifest
